Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside proactive, collaborative, and innovative teammates.You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of supply chain strategies from project initiation to closure, driving efficiency and aligning with organizational goals. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation, customs, and more), represent supply chain functions in project core teams, and develop tailored solutions for unique project environments.You'll specifically take care of defining and driving supply chain strategies, ensuring compliance with budgets, and resolving supply chain complexities. You'll also lead continuous improvement initiatives and coach team members to achieve excellence.We'll look to you for:
- Acting as the supply chain leader throughout the project lifecycle, including managing customer-invoiced topics such as spare parts, warranty, and simulators
- Creating solutions for unique geographical, social, and political project environments while adhering to Alstom and local government policies
- Representing supply chain across multiple project sites in India
- Developing end-to-end supply chain strategies aligned with organizational and project goals
- Driving key activities during project ramp-up to meet logistics QCD objectives
- Representing supply chain in Change Control Board (CCB) reviews and ensuring smooth implementation of changes
- Ensuring supplier readiness and managing mid- and long-term coverage plans
- Monitoring supply chain maturity and participating in progress updates
- Interfacing with external partners and internal teams to align logistical needs and policies
- Managing supplier capacity commitments and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Optimizing stock levels and addressing obsolete stock during and after project phases
All About You

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience or understanding of supply chain processes such as planning, procurement, transportation, and warehousing
- Knowledge of project management principles and tools
- Familiarity with logistics systems, MRP parameters, and supply chain analytics
- A Lean Six Sigma or similar certification
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent problem-solving and adaptability in complex environments
