You will integrate project cost and workhour estimates, along with project schedules, into the Cost Management baseline. Your role will involve developing highly accurate project cost reports, including creating cash flows, cancellation curves, cost narratives, trend analysis, and analyzing contingency, commitment, spent, and forecasts. It is essential to reflect committed/spent funds accurately, issue project deviation notices, field change orders, and document project execution changes in all cost documents, providing estimates of cancellation costs. As a leader of the project team, you will be responsible for deriving a realistic forecast of all funds required to complete the project within the defined budget and schedule. You will also play a crucial role in alerting the project team to critical Cost Management issues while providing supporting data for project metrics, external benchmarking, and project closure. Your responsibilities will include leading cost changes or deviations, alerting on thresholds, and enhancing controls. Collaborating with various functional disciplines as a team player is vital to ensure accurate forecasting. Additionally, you will analyze contingency forecasts, drawdowns, and cost accruals periodically to facilitate the smooth execution of the project. Having knowledge of standard procurement work processes, construction change order work processes, and supporting toolsets is necessary for this role. Familiarity with Turnaround projects and proficiency in field practices and construction exposure will be beneficial. You will be responsible for various key tasks as part of this role: Data Management and Analysis: You will develop and implement robust data-enabled project operations, utilizing innovative surveying solutions and data analytics techniques. It will be your responsibility to create and maintain comprehensive dashboards across different project stages to monitor project health, identify trends, and proactively recommend solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to set up surveys on third-party SaaS tools, ensuring alignment with project requirements will also be a key aspect of your role. You will analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement, facilitating data-driven decision-making within the organization. Working closely with the project implementation team to establish data-aligned primary research practices, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of collected data, will also be within your scope. Technology Solutions and Integration: Your role will involve gathering and analyzing complex user requirements, both internal and external, to develop detailed requirements documents for technological solutions. Collaborating with technology partners to create and implement tailored tech solutions, enhancing internal and external project operations, will be one of your responsibilities. Setting up and configuring technological solutions, including project management tools, to optimize efficiency and streamline workflows will also be a part of your duties. Providing technical support and expertise to the team, ensuring the seamless integration of technology into project processes, will be crucial. Project / Program Support: You will conduct training sessions for internal teams and partners in collaboration with the project team, ensuring proper understanding and implementation of systems and processes. Assisting the project team in setting up systems for tracking project metrics, data capture, and correction, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of project data, will be an essential part of your role. Collaboration with the team to provide technological expertise, offering support and guidance from a project implementation perspective, will also be required. Ensuring the organization follows best practices in cybersecurity to protect sensitive data and staying up-to-date on technology compliance regulations to ensure organizational adherence to them will be your responsibility. Communications/ Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for this role. You should have the ability to translate complex tech concepts for non-technical staff. Additionally, passion for environmental conservation and sustainability initiatives is a significant plus. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in IT Management, Software engineering, Application design and development, Systems implementation and rollout, etc., is required. Proven experience in data management, data analysis, and implementation of technology solutions in project settings (Excel, Google Sheets, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) is essential. Expertise in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial analysis, proficiency in data analytics tools (Python/R), project management software, strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are also necessary for this role. Experience in establishing engineering organizations and promoting best practices is highly desirable. Your strategic thinking, methodical execution, and hands-on knowledge of development, QA, and deployment phases, along with SDLC methodologies, will be crucial to your success in this role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, and familiarity with technologies such as Java/J2EE and RDBMS are essential.
