As a Project Manager in the Gaming industry with over 6 years of experience, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - **Project & Team Management**: - Lead and manage a cross-functional team of developers and QA professionals to ensure successful project delivery. - Allocate resources, set project priorities, and monitor progress against timelines and budgets. - Act as the main point of contact between stakeholders and the development team. - Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, schedules, and risk management logs. - **Drive the adoption of best practices** to ensure optimal team performance and continuous improvement. - **Technical Leadership**: - Translate project requirements into actionable development tasks and milestones. - Provide hands-on guidance to the team to ensure adherence to technical standards and best practices. - Collaborate closely with team members working on Node.js, MongoDB, and React.js/Next.js to resolve challenges and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. - Oversee manual testing processes and QA activities to ensure bug-free, high-quality applications. - **Domain Expertise**: - Work with game designers and stakeholders to seamlessly incorporate technical solutions into gaming applications. - Stay updated with advancements in gaming technologies and Web3, assessing their potential integration. - Provide technical insights into blockchain, NFTs, decentralized applications (dApps), and smart contracts as they relate to gaming. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 6+ years of experience in IT project management, focusing on managing software development teams. - Technical proficiency in Backend (Node.js), Database (MongoDB), Frontend (React.js/Next.js), and Testing (Manual QA processes and tools). - Experience in gaming or Web3 projects with a deep understanding of relevant technologies. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate diverse teams. - Proven experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, including resource planning, task delegation, and risk management. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
