Project Manager for highway construction

As a Civil Engineer specializing in roadways, streets, and drainage, you will be responsible for planning, reviewing, designing, and certifying drawings for various infrastructure projects. This includes conducting field inspections, preparing engineering plans, reports, and contract documents. You will manage different aspects of design projects and engineering programs, such as cost estimates, construction plans, material specifications, and acquisition of right of way and easements. Your role will also involve market research, tendering, quantity survey, rate analysis, and bill of quantity. In this position, you will supervise site managers, assign tasks, and projects across teams, monitor work progress, evaluate performance, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, surveying, project management, and relevant policies and standards is essential. Additionally, experience in quantity survey, rate analysis, and bill of quantity will be beneficial.
