Project Lead- Java

Role Overview: As a member of the Platform team at BOLD, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will work on optimizing APIs for high performance and scalability, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security in production environments. Collaboration with product managers, DevOps, and QA teams will be essential to deliver high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning, while also mentoring and guiding junior engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java (8/11/17+) and Spring Boot. - Build and optimize APIs (REST, gRPC, and GraphQL) for high performance and scalability. - Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security in production environments. - Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing best practices in coding, testing, and cloud development. - Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes. Qualifications Required: - 8 years of professional software engineering experience. - Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. - Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using SQS, SNS, and Kinesis. - Proficiency in GraphQL API development. - Strong background in AWS services (Lambda, ECS, EKS, Auto Scaling, API Gateway, etc.). - Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. - Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed system design. - Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
