• Induction and further development of employees
• Participation in the process board/shop floor SERV
• Management of strategic and operational projects
• Collaboration on strategic and operational projects
• Technical sizing for customer inquiries and orders in consultation with various internal departments
• Largely independent calculation and design of machine parts based on standard calculation specifications (AD leaflets, PED calculations, ...) and internal calculation templates.
• Creation and review of technical offers including calculation and clarification of manufacturing costs as well as assistance with pricing.
• Support of various departments within the BC Group in their own area of responsibility
• Largely Independent Order processing
• Processing of non-conformity reports
• Largely independent data and information collection
• Independent work preparation and supervision of CAD team
• Support and cooperation with the research & development department.
• Carrying out and participating in projects to increase sales and efficiency and ensure CIP (continuous improvement process)
• Recording and passing on know-how
• Preparation, maintenance and giving presentations.
• Submit technical optimization proposals.
• Support in the technical evaluation process to maintain legacy data and bring drawings up to date.
• Coordination of the technical evaluation process including assignment of tasks to employees
• Creation and review of technical documents such as quality and manufacturing
• specifications
• Largely independent creation of technical reports
• 3D scanning and measuring of parts with measuring tools.
• Largely independent elaboration of feasibility studies
• Carrying out training courses (corporate training) within the area of responsibility
• Creation of training documents (corporate training) within the area of responsibility
• Clarifications with production planning department and production regarding the
• optimal manufacturing of individual parts
• Largely independent creation of additional order-dependent document

Education/ experience / languages:

• Graduate in Mechanical engineering.
• 3 to 6 years of industrial experience
• Experience in project management.
• Experience with ERP systems preferably SAP.
• Siemens UGNX experience
• Application of common tools in the office package (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in English language and knowledge of German language will be an
• added advantage.
