Job Summary:

Project Head / Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Review and approve project designs, technical drawings, and construction documentation.

2. Budget and Cost Management

  • Prepare, monitor, and control overall project budgets.
  • Approve and track project expenses and purchase orders.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential financial risks.

3. Team and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure smooth communication and coordination across all project participants.

4. Risk Management and Problem Solving

  • Identify potential risks and implement preventive and corrective actions.
  • Resolve technical or site-related issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality.

5. Quality Control and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to local laws, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Maintain strict quality control across all project stages.
  • Conduct periodic site inspections to review progress and workmanship.

6. Progress Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track overall project progress and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
  • Adjust schedules and manpower as required to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.

7. Project Closure

  • Ensure the successful handover of completed projects to clients.
  • Conduct final inspections, resolve deficiencies, and close documentation.
  • Perform post-project analysis for future improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or B.E. in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • 1520 years of experience in project management within construction, infrastructure, or real estate industries.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proven record of managing large-scale commercial or residential projects independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other project management tools.
