Project Engineering Entry Professional - Structural Steel

Role Overview: You will be a part of the GIS Steel Structural Engineering team at Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center, supporting project engineers in developing project-specific engineering documents and drawings for submission to customers and for manufacturing of Steel Support Structures for GIS equipment. Collaboration with colleagues from various departments and ensuring timely delivery of designs will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating project documentation as per quality processes. Key Responsibilities: - Support project engineers in developing project-specific engineering documents and drawings for Steel Support Structures for GIS equipment - Collaborate with colleagues from departments such as Primary Engineering, Secondary Engineering, Project Management, and Production units - Prepare Tekla model, GA drawings, and Fabrication drawings for Steel Support Structures using software like Staad Pro - Prepare project-specific Civil plans considering GIS loading and environmental conditions - Conduct self-review and peer review of documents - Ensure timely delivery of designs with quality, coordinating with team members and project lead engineer - Maintain and update project documentation as per quality processes Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience with a B.E in Civil & Structural Engineering - Hands-on experience in Tekla, Navisworks, and other modeling software - Familiarity with codes and standards for Structural Modeling & Detailing - Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of tools like AUTOCAD, MS Office, Galvanization & painting procedures - Mandatory knowledge of HSE standards like OSHA, DIN; preferable knowledge of international standards such as IEC/IEEE/ANSI - Working knowledge of Staad.pro is an added advantage (Note: Additional details about the company were not present in the provided job description.),
