As a POA Engineer at Lam Research India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate configuration of products before they are shipped to customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing configurable options using the Product Option Architecture (POA) tool, and ensuring their accuracy - Creating and managing Bill of Materials (BOM) for product options - Reviewing and aligning BOM content with Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and product managers for all possible product options - Creating and managing CAD models for product options as per POA structure - Coordinating with CFT to manage the release process of product option changes - Working on automating the creation and maintenance of Visio documents, BOM comparison, workflow, checklist documents, etc. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Industrial engineering with 4-6 years of relevant experience Key skills and experience necessary for the job: - Proficiency in Pro/E, Creo for assembly creation and re-structuring CAD assembly - Experience in managing large CAD assemblies (more than 5000 parts in top-level assembly) using Pro/E, Creo - Ability to create and manage Bill of Materials (BoM) and experience in using MS Excel for BoM management - Creation and management of simplified representations in CAD assemblies - Proficiency in executing Engineering Change Management activities like writing Change Orders (CO), reviewing the CO for accuracy, and defining implementation strategies - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Experience in creating Macros/VBA scripting using MS Excel Desirable skills for the role include: - Knowledge of DFx process (Design for Manufacturability, Cost, Assembly, and Serviceability) - Familiarity with Flowcharts and Visio software - Experience with Team Center and PLM (SAP, e-Works, Oracle-aps, etc.) - Exposure to semiconductor industry-related engineering activities Lam Research is committed to creating an inclusive and empowering work environment where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential.
