As a member of Lam Research's Hardware group in India, you will play a key role in designing subassemblies and subsystems for cutting-edge semiconductor products. Your contributions will drive innovation, cost-effectiveness, and reliability enhancements for next-generation products. Collaborating with a diverse team of mechanical engineers, simulation analysts, electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and supplier quality engineers, you will be at the forefront of developing and improving Lam's product lines. Your primary responsibility will revolve around developing configurable options using the Product Option Architecture (POA) tool, ensuring accuracy, and managing Bill of Materials (BOM) for product options. Working closely with Cross Functional Teams (CFT) and product managers, you will align BOM content and create CAD models as per POA structure. Additionally, you will coordinate with CFT to oversee the release process of product option changes and drive automation initiatives for various documentation tasks. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or Industrial engineering with 4-6 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Pro/E and Creo for assembly creation, managing large CAD assemblies, and creating and managing BOM using MS Excel is essential. Your ability to execute Engineering Change Management activities, problem-solving skills, and experience in creating Macros/VBA scripting using MS-Excel will be crucial to your success. Desirable skills include knowledge of DFx processes, Flowcharts, Visio software, Team Center, PLM systems, and exposure to semiconductor industry-related engineering activities.
