Project Coordinator MEP

Job Summary:

The MEP Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of construction projects. This role ensures effective communication between project stakeholders, manages documentation, and assists in scheduling, procurement, and quality control for MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate MEP activities across design, procurement, installation, and commissioning stages of the project.
• Work closely with the MEP engineers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and schedules for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor progress and prepare weekly/monthly reports on MEP works.
• Assist in managing RFIs, submittals, variation orders, and related documentation.
• Track and ensure timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
• Support site inspections and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate coordination meetings between stakeholders for clash detection and resolution.
• Update and maintain project documentation including logs, reports, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with the main project team to ensure MEP activities align with overall project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar MEP coordination role in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other relevant software tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
