Project Associate

The Project Associate - Survey Operations role at Varahe Analytics involves playing a pivotal role in formulating, analyzing, and executing strategies for survey operations. You will be leading teams spread across various geographical locations and must be willing to travel extensively across the country for training, supervising, and supporting teams. Collaborating with the Survey Manager, you will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards, and meeting deadlines. Proactiveness in seeking and implementing industry best practices is crucial, along with liaising with the Quantitative Analytics Team and external vendors to maintain robust technical backend and support systems. Additionally, analyzing data to derive quantitative insights is a key aspect of this role. As a Survey Associate, you will work within the Survey Operations vertical of Varahe Analytics, conducting primary research through ground surveys to quantify opinions and mindsets. Managing multiple ground teams, maintaining sampling quality, and monitoring performance based on collected data are primary responsibilities. Interaction with senior leadership, political figures, and other stakeholders at various levels is required to detect the political pulse through rigorous survey cycles. High levels of confidentiality and exceptional team management skills are essential. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Management, or a relevant field, along with 2-5 years of experience in operations, sales, strategy, or consulting. Proficiency in data management tools and G-Suite is preferred, with a willingness to learn new tools. Being a self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility, excellent quantitative problem-solving abilities, and experience with G-suite are key requirements. Fluency in speaking, writing, and comprehending the Odia language is a must-have qualification for this role.
