Project Associate I

As a Project Associate-I at Amity University Rajasthan, Jaipur, you will be working under the project entitled Molecular characterization of phosphate starvation response in pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum) sponsored by DST-SERB on a temporary & contract basis. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting molecular characterization of phosphate starvation response in pearl millet - Working on high throughput genomics and transcriptomics data - Handling and analyzing research data - Collaborating with the research team for project progress To qualify for this position, you must have: - A Master's degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Life Sciences or a related field with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university - Knowledge and work experience in Molecular Biology - Experience in handling and analyzing high throughput genomics and transcriptomics data The emoluments for this position are Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA for NET/GATE/National level examinations qualified candidates, or Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA for others as per SERB Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SB/S9/Z-07/2020 dated 25-08-2020. The age limit for this position is not more than 35 years. This is an initial appointment for 1 year or till the tenability of the project, whichever is earlier. The appointment duration can be curtailed/extended based on performance review.
