T Job Purpose: - As a Solution Designer within the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) industry, you will play a critical role in crafting innovative and efficient solutions tailored to meet the logistics needs of our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, design customized logistics solutions, and ensure seamless implementation and delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics operations, technology integration, and the ability to translate client needs into actionable plans. Responsibilities: - 1. Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their logistics requirements, challenges, and objectives. Conduct thorough needs assessments and propose tailored solutions that address their specific business needs. 2. Solution Design: Participate in RFQ, New Enquiry, understand the client requirement and process & design an appropriate solution based on customer’s requirement. Utilize your expertise in logistics operations and industry best practices to design comprehensive logistics solutions. This includes determining optimal transportation modes, warehouse configurations, inventory management strategies, and technology solutions. 3. Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cutting-edge technology solutions into logistics processes. This may involve leveraging transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), IoT devices, and data analytics platforms to optimize efficiency and visibility. 4. Cost Analysis and Optimization: Conduct thorough cost analyses to ensure proposed solutions are financially viable and aligned with client budgets. Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies throughout the supply chain. 5. Collaborative Planning: Work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and IT to develop comprehensive implementation plans. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned and that solutions are scalable and sustainable. 6. Project Management: Lead the implementation of logistics solutions from concept to execution. Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. 7. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance the value proposition for clients.
