Progressive Tool Design Engineer

You are an experienced Progressive Tool Design Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in the Solar/Automotive industry, seeking a new opportunity to showcase your skills. Joining Gate Manufacturing Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for designing and developing progressive tools, press tools, fixtures, and jigs for metal stamping and forming processes within the manufacturing industry. Your main responsibilities will include designing tools while considering material flow, part complexity, and production efficiency. You will utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and 3D models, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet production requirements and quality standards. Additionally, you will conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs and provide technical support to production teams during implementation. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. You should have proven experience in progressive tool design, press tools, fixture, and jig design, proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools, and a strong understanding of tooling materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T. Your experience in designing fixtures and jigs with a focus on precision and repeatability, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities, will be essential for this position.
