We are looking for strong candidates for the role of Progres developer with 5-10 years of experience. The job location is Across. As a Progres ABL Developer, you will be responsible for hands-on experience working with Progress OOABL, Progress IDE, MFG Pro, Progress 4GL, and scripting languages like TypeScript and JavaScript. You will design, code, test, and maintain software applications using Progres Advanced Business Language. Additionally, you will be expected to read/write database queries, stored procedures, and functions in relational databases, and have hands-on experience with any ORM (Object Relational Model) tool. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts, designers, and other developers, you will create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications, perform code reviews, and contribute to the development of best practices. Hands-on experience with any application server and Agile development is desired. The ideal candidate should possess basic Linux knowledge, be familiar with SVN, and have a background in general Java/Object-Oriented development.
