Role & responsibilities Job Title :Node.js Developer Job Location : Bengaluru Years of Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full - Time Department: Tech Your Role in the Bigger Picture: As a Node.js Developer ,you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side components of our web applications. You will work closely with frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to create robust and scalable backend solutions. Your role will involve writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, as well as optimizing application performance. What Youll Own : Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js. Develop robust RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations. Ensure backend performance, scalability, and data integrity. Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams for seamless development. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Debug issues, optimize logic, and participate in regular code reviews. Contribute to deployment, version control, and best practices. What We're Looking for in You : 1. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering , or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2. Certifications: NA 3. The Experience That Sets You Apart: Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using Node.js. Implement APIs and integrate with frontend components and third-party services. Write reusable, testable, and efficient code. Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Monitor and improve application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability. Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services. Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. 4. Your Subject Matter Expertise: SaaS experience of 2 years with total development experience of 5 years Must have worked in a smaller company of less than 100 Should have built solutions/softwares end to end and not just as a part of biggerteam Proficiency in working with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Understanding of security best practices in web application development. Experience with GraphQL and related libraries. Knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns. Familiarity with frontend technologies like React.
