Your impactWe are inviting applications for the position of Program/Sr Project Controller. Join our dynamic team working on major infrastructure projects. The Program/Sr Project Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of the infrastructure project by overseeing financial management, scheduling, and risk management.In the role you will be reporting to Head of Sector in India and supporting the sector as a Program/Sr Project Controller and be closely involved in project planning, scheduling, cost controls, unbilled review and various project controls activities. The Program/Sr Project Controller will play a criticalrole in ensuring the successful delivery of the infrastructure. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Support the project team by preparation of budget PTs, ETC preparation, project finance health monitoring
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits. Prepare financial reports and forecasts.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met. Coordinate with various teams to track progress and address any delays.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risk factors and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare regular status reports for senior management and stakeholders. Ensure transparency and accuracy in all project documentation.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations and standards. Conduct audits and reviews as necessary.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Track costs, unbilled, over/under runs, preparation of project scenarios, POC analysis, Change management, unbilled, project closeouts, DSO, etc.
Here's what you'll need
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering or Project/Construction Management is mandatory.
- Masters degree in related field or Professional Certifications (e.g. PMP) is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Project/Operations Management, Program Controls, Project Controls is essential, preferably on public sector infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) along with working knowledge of advanced excel is preferred
- Experience in estimating, monitoring, and controlling project costs is preferred.
- The role requires good analytical ability with high problem-solving skills
- High levels of curiosity and attention to details are essential
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills
- Must have high organizational and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High degree of emotional intelligence, team player mentality is essential
