Roles and Responsibilities Develop ETL jobs and integrate SAS Data Quality platform to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Design and implement various transformations in SAS DI Studio to extract, transform, and load data. Perform data validation, quality checks, and ror-handling tasks to maintain high data integrity. Implement Type I and Type II handling in ETL processes to manage data history and updates efficiently. Extract and load data from various databases, including Oracle, MySQL, and Teradata. Optimize ETL/ELT jobs for performance and efficiency, ensuring they meet the defined service level agreements (SLAs). Utilize SAS programming, including Macros and Enterprise Guide, to develop and maintain data management solutions. Schedule jobs using LSF and Cron-tab for efficient task execution and resource management. Work with SAS BI platform and UNIX operating systems to support data management and reporting needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business objectives. Travel within India and abroad for project implementations as required. Qualifications and Requirements B.E/ BTech/ MTech/ MCA/MBA. 3-8 years of experience in SAS programming and SAS Data Integration Server. Strong understanding of ETL concepts and experience in developing ETL jobs. Hands-on experience with data validation, data quality, and error handling techniques. Proficiency in working with various databases and extracting data using SQL queries. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL/ELT jobs. Knowledge of SAS programming, including Macros and Enterprise Guide. Familiarity with scheduling tools such as LSF and Cron-tab. Exposure to SAS BI platform and UNIX operating systems is a plus. Willingness to travel for project implementations within India and internationally. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
