You will be joining Elder Equipment, a premier industrial equipment manufacturing company known for its dedication to innovation and excellence. As a Senior PLC Programmer - Industrial Automation, your role will involve developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLC programs for elder equipment in the manufacturing facility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure machinery's efficient and safe operation, particularly those used in elder equipment manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: - Design, program, implement, and maintain PLC programs for elder equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand equipment requirements and develop PLC programs accordingly. - Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to identify and rectify any issues with the PLC systems. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for PLC systems. - Assist in the installation and commissioning of new PLC systems. - Provide training and support to junior team members. - Stay updated with the latest developments in PLC programming and industrial automation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC programming, preferably in an industrial manufacturing setting. - Proficiency in PLC programming languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram. - Strong knowledge of industrial automation, including SCADA and HMI systems. - Familiarity with elder equipment, such as wheelchairs, mobility aids, and medical devices, is preferred. - Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities. - Experience with Rockwell Automation products (Allen-Bradley) is a plus.
