We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Overseas Education Counsellor to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in overseas education counselling, a comprehensive knowledge of international education systems, and exceptional communication skills. As a Counsellor, your primary responsibility will be to assist students in navigating the process of studying abroad. This includes guiding them in selecting appropriate courses and institutions, aiding in application preparation, and offering support throughout the admissions procedure. Your key roles and responsibilities will include: - Providing guidance to students regarding study abroad opportunities in countries like USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, etc. - Counselling students on educational courses, program selection, and career planning for overseas studies. - Shortlisting institutions for students who wish to study abroad. - Conducting counselling sessions for study abroad, admissions, and visas. - Actively following up on student inquiries, whether walk-ins or telephonic. - Assisting in the preparation of student university applications and necessary documentation. - Coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process. - Maintaining accurate records of counselled students and delivering regular reports. - Helping students recognize their skill sets and recommending strategies for leveraging them. - Interviewing and preparing students to ensure their eligibility for application. - Supporting students in completing admission forms and organizing financial documentation. - Managing the financial aid process, considering all aspects of the students. - Educating students about education loans and supporting them in securing loans and financial aid.
