As a Production Associate in the Body Shop1- Weld Management department at one of the Leading Automobile companies located in Talegaon, Pune, your primary responsibilities will include: - Monitoring body shop performance related to safety, quality & productivity using Qlik - Planning and implementing corrective actions for top errors - Monitoring Robot keeper log for pending issues and implementing action plans - Validating tip change schedule and implementing corrective measures for tip loosening - Following up on weld tear down body with Body QC and taking corrective actions for N.G points in tear down body - Monitoring and confirming quality keeper drive check points and robot keeper check points - Confirming tip dresser equipment quality and monitoring welding gun inspection - Monitoring and implementing corrective actions for weld-related defects in Paint shop, Assy shop & PDI - Addressing sharp burr complaints in Assy shop and confirming Hi4 robot external stops - Addressing safety concerns in the robot zone and flying spatter monitoring - Eliminating/minimizing hard-to-access areas and selecting program numbers & model signals - Receiving and validating weld distribution data and sealer application layout from body M.E - Planning and executing robot teaching as per schedule and minimizing weld defects in new models - Selecting and finalizing aging robot replacements and planning their execution - Planning project holidays activities, manpower planning & material arrangement - Planning and executing improvements such as welding gun design changes and robot idling - Planning and executing volume up & cycle time reduction activities - Providing training and knowledge sharing to JEX & NEX in robot operation The business unit you will be a part of is the Body Shop, and you will be working 6 days a week. The role offers a large scope with a new unit in the Pune Campus, along with compensation and benefits including subsidized transport & canteen facilities. The educational requirement for this position is a Diploma in any field, with essential requirements including expertise in spot welding, MIG welding & brazing, robot teaching/programming, program conversion & design development, and troubleshooting/RCA. A candidate with 3 to 10 years of experience in these areas would be an ideal fit for this role. This role does not require global interaction and proficiency in English & Marathi languages is essential.
