Exciting Career Opportunity: Genome Analyst – Hyderabad We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Genome Analyst to join our cutting-edge clinical genomics team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time, on-site position , offering exceptional scope for professional growth and contribution in the fields of Human Genetics and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies . Key Responsibilities Perform quality control (QC) checks on NGS and other genetic data from clinical samples. Apply expertise in preventive genomics and chromosomal microarray analysis (CMA) . Interpret genetic variants (NGS/Sanger) using databases such as ClinVar, COSMIC, gnomAD, HGMD . Classify variants in accordance with ACMG/AMP guidelines . Generate accurate, clinically relevant reports tailored to patient history and clinical context. Collaborate with bioinformatics and laboratory teams to support robust genetic data analysis and interpretation. Conduct systematic literature reviews and curate evidence to support variant classification. Ensure timely delivery of reports, meeting defined turnaround time standards. Contribute to the development and validation of molecular diagnostic assays when required. Assist with mutation validation, as well as the design of primers and probes as necessary. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ACMG guidelines and their application in clinical reporting. Publication records, professional recognition, or prior experience with NGS technologies will be considered an advantage. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in NGS, Human Genetics, and Genome Sequencing. Minimum 3+ years of experience in NGS reporting . Strong expertise in Human Genetics, variant interpretation, and clinical report preparation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. Educational Qualification Master’s degree in Human Genetics or a related field in Life Sciences .
