Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION If you are a DCS professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are seeking an authority and hard-working Project Engineer to join our Power Greenfield team. Work independently or with a team on hardware engineering, panel crafting, and understanding network architecture on Emerson’s Ovation platform for Power Generation & Water treatment in India. You will conduct project Design Review Meetings, Customer Workshops and Factory/Site Acceptance Tests with customers to demonstrate System functionality. Job Description In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Implement to Emerson’s project execution life cycle and maintain all relevant documentation, including technical and quality documents. Own the project and act as the primary connect with the customer for the entire scope of the project. Craft and develop customized, sophisticated logic and graphics. Build third-party interface databases/modules. Review and develop the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the entire system. Review all project-related documentation, including SW/HW and project management aspects. Develop internal test plans, verify cabinet builds, and perform internal testing. Conduct Third-Party Interface testing. Develop and implement Software (SW) FAT plans, Hardware (HW) FAT plans, and HW-SW integration plans. Preparation of design using Siemens make products/solutions like A8000 RTU, S8000, SAS, PAS, WinCC etc. Understanding of Control and protection schematic for various power system equipment. Preparation of FAT/SAT/GTP/TTR/FDS/HEAT LOAD documents. Basic to advance knowledge of cyber security solution/concept used in substation level. Flexible working with global client’s time zone. Candidate will be part of the REC (Remote Engineering Center) and will be responsible for engineering activities of client from overseas/domestic. Eligibility criteria / Skill Sets B. Tech / B.E in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. 5 - 10 years of relevant experience. 1-3 years Commissioning / customer service / FAT experience will be an added advantage Hands-on Experience over Siemens Make RTU A8000 and other Siemens Automation solutions. Advance knowledge of IEC-61850 ed1/2/2.1 protocol standards. Knowledge on different serial and ethernet based protocol (IEC104, IEC101, MODBUS TCP/IP, Profibus etc.) used in Substation Automation System. Knowledge of Siemens configuration tools: SIMATIC WINCC/SCC, Toolbox, SICAM Device Manager, DIGSI, SICAM PAS etc. Basic understanding of cyber security implementation required for products and configuration level Drafting software knowledge like Visio, Auto CAD etc. and Knowledge on IoT applications will be added to the advantage. E Base software knowledge will be added advantage. Has good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skill. Proactive and growth mindset approach to deliver high quality deliverables to end client. Fast learner and able to work independently or as a team player.
