Head of Department (HOD) & Professor Responsibilities:

· Academic Leadership:

Provides strategic direction for the department, develops and implements academic plans, and ensures the curriculum is up-to-date and relevant.

· Administrative Management:

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the department, including budgeting, resource allocation, and faculty assignments.

· Faculty and Staff Management:

Supervises, and evaluates faculty and staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and contribute to the department's goals.

· Student Affairs:

Counsels and mentors students, addresses their concerns, and promotes student success and well-being.

· Research and Development:

Encourages and supports faculty research, facilitates collaboration with industry, and promotes the department's research profile.

· Quality Assurance:

Implements quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and research within the department.

· Industry Collaboration:

Fosters partnerships with industry to provide students with internships, placements, and real-world learning experiences.

· Communication and Reporting:

Represents the department in meetings with higher authorities, communicates effectively with faculty, staff, and students, and reports on departmental activities.

Professor Responsibilities:

· Teaching:

Delivers lectures, designs and develops course materials, assesses student learning, and provides feedback to students.

· Research:

Conducts research in their field of expertise, publishes findings in scholarly journals, and presents research at conferences.

· Mentoring:

Guides and mentors students, providing academic and career advice, and supporting their professional development.

· Service:

Contributes to the college and the wider academic community through committee work, participation in academic events, and outreach activities.

· Curriculum Development:

Contributes to the development and revision of the curriculum, ensuring it is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards.

· Continuous Professional Development:

Stays abreast of the latest developments in their field and engages in ongoing professional development activities.
Candidate must be a Ph.D,M.Tech, B.Tech.The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience teaching in a reputed Engineering college

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
