Professor Computer Science and Information Science

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Information
• Science.
• Guide B.E./M.Tech/Ph.D. research scholars and supervise student projects.
• Develop curriculum, course materials, and assessment methods aligned with industry
• standards and accreditation norms (AICTE/NAAC/NBA).
• Conduct original research, publish in reputed journals (SCI/Scopus), and present at
• conferences.
• Secure research funding from government/industry bodies and lead funded projects.
• Collaborate with industry partners for internships, placements, and joint research
• initiatives.
• Mentor junior faculty and actively contribute to departmental development.
• Participate in academic administration, examination duties, and university
• committees.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
• First-class (or equivalent) in M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech.
• Experience of 15 years preferable Minimum 8 years of post PG
• teaching/research/industry experience, with at least 5 years at the level of Associate
• Professor or equivalent.

Skills and Competencies:

• Deep expertise in core CS/IS domains (e.g., AI/ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity,
• Cloud Computing, IoT).
• Strong research and publication record.
• Effective communication and classroom engagement.
• Familiarity with outcome-based education and accreditation frameworks.
• Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
