Job Description

Position Summary:

Professor

Key Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the department.
Develop and revise curriculum to ensure academic excellence and relevance.
Supervise student research, theses, or dissertations as appropriate.
Conduct independent and collaborative research leading to publications in reputable journals.
Apply for and manage research grants or funding opportunities.
Participate actively in departmental, college, and university governance and committees.
Engage in academic advising and mentorship of students.
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside the university.

Qualifications:

Required:

Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level.
A strong record of peer-reviewed publications or creative works.
Evidence of a sustained research agenda or potential for impactful research.
Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
