D degree, Bachelors or Masters Degree in first class (Engineering/ Technology) with eight years of experience in Teaching, Research, and/or industry experience of at least five years at the position of assistant professor reader or equivalent grade. Alternatively, candidates applying for the position should have a first-class master's degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology with professional work equivalent to a Ph. D degree in an appropriate branch of Engineering and technology. They should also have industrial professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of the lecturer. The reorganization for professional shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a 3-member committee of experts appointed by the vice-chancellor of the university. Desirable requirements for the candidates include teaching, research, industrial, and/or professional experience in a reputed organization. Published work such as research papers, patents filed/obtained, books, and/or technical reports are also preferred. Additionally, experience in guiding project work/dissertation of PG/research students or supervising R&D projects in the industry would be an advantage.
