As a Professional, Quality Assurance Engineer at Fiserv, your primary responsibility will be to independently test or prepare automated test scripts for assignments while maintaining the highest degree of quality for all deliverables. You will provide estimations for analysis, design, manual testing, and automation script preparation of application functionality. It is essential to understand requirements through various sources of information available with the team and conduct QA activities for manual and automation testing, including executing, maintaining, and enhancing existing and new automation test suites. Additionally, you will be responsible for refining requirements with Business Analysts during grooming calls, applying innovative testing concepts to enhance test coverage and improve quality, as well as learning and adhering to best practices and methodologies used in the program. Your role will also involve providing L3 support for production issues, analyzing and reproducing production issues in lower environments, providing data points and patterns to the technical team, and assisting the client support team throughout the process. Furthermore, you will mentor and train existing and new team members, collaborate with stakeholders to reach agreements according to defined project goals, track progress against assigned tasks, report status, proactively identify issues, and work successfully in a team environment. To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 6+ years of experience as a QA professional with at least 3+ years of experience in automated testing. A strong understanding of the Software Test Lifecycle, including test strategy, planning, case design, data setup, defect management, and test metrics, is required. Additionally, technical skills in Selenium, TestNG, SQL Server, .Net or Java, Agile processes and tools like JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, as well as security aspects for applications/projects are essential. Good debugging and problem-solving skills, knowledge of frameworks, experience in integrating third-party applications, and hands-on experience in black box testing are also important. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, retail banking domain experience, creative thinking, and good problem-solving skills are desired qualities. It would be great to have hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Harness and GitHub, as well as coding automation frameworks using programming languages like C# or Java.
