As a member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams to drive process improvements focused on Productivity, Material Flow, and Cost Reduction. You will be involved in implementing various process improvements such as Lean manufacturing, 5S, TPM, etc. Additionally, you will design and define requirements for gauges, jigs, and fixtures for new products. Your role will also involve preparing plant layouts to optimize resource utilization and monitoring man/machine efficiency. You will assist in productivity data analysis and develop methods to enhance process efficiency by establishing new productivity standards. Furthermore, you will contribute to the design and implementation of new products on the shop floor. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional department heads to identify and address barriers in project implementation. You will provide support for prototype development and tackle tooling-related challenges. You will also play a key role in the implementation of Semi/Fully automation projects. The ideal candidate should have a BE (Mechanical) or DME qualification with 3 to 5 years of experience for BE and 4 to 6 years for DME in Engineering or a related industry. Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD is required. Knowledge of Product Related Quality norms, various applicable standards, Integrated Management systems, Work Study, Time Study, Productivity Norms, Manufacturing Processes, and Tool Engineering activities is preferred. Key skills for this role include target orientation, problem-solving, planning, coordination, conflict management, good communication, creativity, cooperation, and teamwork.
