As the role holder, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production in the state-of-the-art factory. This includes ensuring a high level of expertise in production technologies and timely deliveries. You will also lead and guide the quality department, with the quality head reporting directly to you. Managing a staff strength of approximately 1500 employees (both direct and contract) will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have previous exposure to working in an automated factory that relies on robotics and heavy machinery. Experience in Japanese manufacturing organizations, preferably in a production head role or as the next in line, would be highly beneficial. Familiarity with standard requirements such as 5S, Quality Circle, and other management methodologies commonly used in Japanese manufacturing organizations is essential.
