Production Technician

Role & responsibilities Operate and monitor the Filament Extruder machine to produce filament Operate and monitor the Filament Extruder to ensure the efficient production of 3D printing filaments. Familiarity with machine settings, adjustments, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal production levels. Collaborate with the related team to address any technical issues promptly. Implement the maintenance of the machine and check raw materials condition. Conduct routine maintenance on the Filament Extruder to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any unexpected issues promptly. Participate in regular equipment inspections and upkeep activities. Ensure the quality of the raw materials in the inventory area. Quality check the raw materials and machine Conduct regular quality checks on the produced filaments to ensure they meet the required specifications. Make necessary adjustments to the extruder settings to maintain consistent filament diameter and quality. Implement and adhere to quality control processes to minimize production defects. Material Handling and Inventory for both raw materials and finished products. Manage the raw materials required for filament production, including loading materials into the extruder and monitoring material levels. Keep accurate records of material usage and report any discrepancies, also record the inventory of the finished product. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain of raw materials. Deliver and Dispatch the finished product as required and communicate with the courier company. Packing and Dispatch some items and our product to deliver to our client and our location. Prepare the packing material and pack the product. Ensure the packing condition to keep the quality of the product Communicate with the courier company to deliver the product Documentation and Reporting for the production record and the other related items. Maintain detailed production logs, including machine settings, production quantities, and quality control data. Generate regular reports on production efficiency, material consumption, and any deviations from set standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, providing updates on production status and addressing any concerns promptly. Workspace management Regular Cleaning Inspection and inventory management of all related materials and facilities. Management and maintenance of tools Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Make suggestions for improving operations in this position's role or beyond this role. Preferred candidate profile Practical experience in manufacturing industry and for machine operation with maintenance activity. The ability to work under strict deadlines without letting the shortage of time affect the quality of work Knowledge on resolving functional issues arising in the course of a project Good verbal and written communicator in English, Hindi Self-motivated, self-disciplined and can do the job with minimal supervision Standard computer skills: Word, Excel, email, online communication tools (slack, etc.) Flexible with working hours.
