Job Title: Production & Planning Manager Location: Prithla, Palwal, Haryana Salary: 60,000 70,000 per month Experience: 812 years in sheet metal fabrication (heavy and medium-heavy) Industry: Sheet Metal Fabrication / Engineering / Manufacturing Reporting to: Plant Head Company Overview: A leading fabrication unit specializing in heavy and medium-heavy sheet metal fabrications and welded assemblies, working with reputed clients like Kubota, ManiTou, and other export clients. Our facility is equipped with advanced cutting technologies such as Laser, Plasma, and Oxy-fuel cutting systems. We are looking for a Production & Planning Manager who can take ownership of our cutting and fabrication operations end-to-end & raw material planning. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production & Shop Floor Management Supervise and manage daily operations of cutting shops, fabrication, and weld assembly sections. Ensure timely production and delivery as per client requirements and quality standards. Oversee operations involving laser, plasma, and oxy-cutting machines. 2. Cutting Planning & Execution ¢ ¢ ¢ Interpret customer drawings and requirements to determine optimal cutting processes. Decide on material width, layout, and nesting for efficient utilization. Strong experience on planning for cutting operations based on material type, thickness, and design requirements. 3. Client Requirement Handling ¢ Understand technical requirements from the clients as per their requirement & prioritise accordingly.

¢ ¢ Liaise with clients/engineering team to finalize production and material planning as per their needs. Translate customer BOM and drawings into actionable production plans. 4. Raw Material Planning & Procurement Support ¢ ¢ Plan and monitor monthly raw material requirement based on production forecasts. Coordinate with the procurement team to raise material requisitions/orders as per client schedules. ¢ Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stockouts or excess stock. 5. Planning & Coordination ¢ ¢ Create and manage daily/weekly/monthly production schedules. Coordinate between design, procurement, and shop floor teams for seamless production flow. ¢ Track job progress, manage delays, and adjust plans as needed to meet delivery timelines. Required Skills & Qualifications: ¢ ¢ Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 8-10 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication with exposure to laser/plasma/oxy cutting. ¢ ¢ ¢ Strong knowledge of cutting layouts, nesting, and material optimization. Ability to read technical drawings, understand weld symbols, and interpret BOMs. Practical knowledge in raw material planning, consumption forecasting, and inventory management. ¢ ¢ Experience handling OEM client requirements and converting them into actionable production plans. Proficient with ERP systems, MS Excel, and planning tools.

Preferred Attributes: ¢ Experience working with clients in the agricultural machinery, trailers, or industrial equipment sectors. ¢ ¢ Strong leadership and communication skills to handle cross-functional teams. Knowledge of fabrication standards and safety protocols.
