Role & responsibilities Process Optimization & Improvement: Analyze existing manufacturing processes using time studies, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis. Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements using lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, etc.). Monitor key KPIs (OEE, FTT, cycle time, takt time) and drive action plans for improvement. Implementing standards: Industrial Engineering Activities Conduct work measurement and manpower planning. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and line balancing studies. Lead ergonomic evaluations and layout planning. Facility Expansion & Capex Projects Assist in planning and executing facility layout changes, equipment installation, and utilities planning. Support development of Capex proposals, ROI calculations, and vendor coordination. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during commissioning and ramp-up. Process Documentation & Control: Create and maintain process documents including PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions. Conduct process audits and ensure process adherence on the shop floor. Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Support production teams in resolving daily technical issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations Preferred candidate profile Experience: 1-3 year Qualification: B.E/B.tech Industrial Engineering or Production Experience in Battery Manufacturing is additional benefit.
