Purpose of the Position To Steer the IT Department as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for SAVWIPL. To ensure smooth and efficient operations of all IT systems across 9 locations viz., Chakan Plant, Mumbai and Aurangabad, along with Parts Warehouses and Regional Training Centres at Pune, Bangalore and Gurgaon, 250+ Dealerships pan India. Provide strategic direction to the IT Department, in line with Organizations (SAVWIPL, SKMB, VW Group & APAC region) strategy and execute new projects for technology/infrastructure/application deployments. To achieve these, manage a budget to the tune of 7 Mio EUR for Investment and 17 Mio EUR as IT Running Costs. Ensure optimal use of IT resources and identify opportunities for cost optimization wherever possible. Assure IT security levels meet the Group and regulatory needs. Steer and decides over the IT strategic and cross-functional programs and projects to meet company goals. To define & lead Digitalization strategy for the Organization. Setup & execute Digital projects, define roadmap & monetization/revenue generation potentials. Create and develop efficient and lean IT organisation with strong synergical interface to SKMB and VW Group.
