Production Head Men's Wear

As an Apparel Production Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the production process in a cost-effective manner. You will be required to draw up production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining high quality standards. It will be your duty to determine the human and material resources necessary for production, establish job timescales, estimate costs, and set quality benchmarks. Monitoring production processes closely and making necessary adjustments to schedules will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be accountable for equipment selection and maintenance, as well as implementing quality-control programs to uphold product standards. Effective communication and coordination among various departments such as suppliers and managers will be essential. Collaborating with managers to align with the company's policies and objectives, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supervising a team of workers will be integral parts of your job. You will be expected to motivate your team, review their performance, and identify any training needs to enhance their skills and productivity. Desired skills for this role include expertise in fabrics, garment wash processes, sewing, production management, fit, garment construction, PDM, sourcing, product construction, raw material development, production cycle timeline, and experience in manufacturing non-apparel/bottom wear.
