Position: Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute basic & detailed production of CLW components and subassemblies as per engineering drawings.
• Assist in inspection of detail parts, subassemblies, and assemblies to ensure quality standards.
• Handle labour efficiently to achieve high production output.
• Oversee the entire fabrication process – from plate marking to fabrication, welding, dimensional checks, and final completion of components.
• Manufacture & inspect:
• Centre Underframe for WAP-7, WAG-9HC, WAG-9HH & WAG-9H Twin
• Centresill for WAP-5, WAP-7, WAG-9HC, WAG-9HH & WAG-9H Twin
• Bolster for WAP-5, WAP-7, WAG-9HC, WAG-9HH & WAG-9H Twin
• Sidewall for WAP-7, WAG-9HC, WAG-9HH & WAG-9H Twin
• Shell Assembly for WAP-5, WAP-7, WAG-9HC, WAG-9HH & Aerodynamic WAP-5

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of production planning & execution.
• Proficiency in fabrication, welding, and dimensional inspection.
• Experience in railway component manufacturing (CLW components preferred).
• Excellent labour handling and team management skills.
• Familiarity with drawings and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production of railway components.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
