Production Engineer - Lithium ion battery

As a Production Engineer in Lithium-ion Battery Manufacturing operations, your role will involve leading the production process, ensuring operational efficiency, quality assurance, and team management. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and overseeing end-to-end lithium-ion battery production operations. - Ensuring efficient process flow, throughput, and meeting production targets. - Implementing and managing quality assurance protocols. - Collaborating with R&D, BMS, and Design teams for continuous product improvement. - Managing and mentoring the production team across multiple shifts. - Monitoring and improving KPIs such as yield, cycle time, productivity, and safety. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental guidelines. To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements: - Proven experience in lithium-ion battery manufacturing. - In-depth understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS) including architecture, integration, and diagnostics. - Strong knowledge of cell chemistry (NMC, LFP, etc.), pack assembly, testing, and calibration. - Familiarity with automation and process optimization in battery production. - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with suppliers/vendors. Educational Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
