As a CNC Operator at Accusharp Cutting Tools, your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain CNC machines in order to ensure the efficient production of high-precision cutting tools. You should have a basic understanding of cutting tools and machine safety protocols to excel in this role. Your key duties will include operating various CNC machines such as lathes, milling, and grinding machines to manufacture cutting tools. You will need to read and interpret technical drawings and CNC programs, perform tool changes, setups, and machine calibrations. It will be your responsibility to conduct routine maintenance on the machines and ensure that all safety standards are adhered to. Additionally, you will be required to inspect finished products using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and monitor the production processes to maintain quality and consistency. Documenting production data and reporting any machine or product issues will also be part of your job. To be successful in this role, you should have an ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. While 1-2 years of experience as a CNC Operator is preferred, freshers with relevant education are also encouraged to apply. Basic knowledge of cutting tools and machining processes, proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, and familiarity with CNC programming will be advantageous.
