Production Coordinator Garments

Role Overview: As a Production Coordinator for a domestic garment brand, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate all aspects of garment production. This includes managing production schedules, coordinating with vendors, ensuring quality control, and timely delivery of finished products. Your role will also involve troubleshooting production issues, optimizing production processes, and sourcing new vendors as per capacity requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate production schedules and follow up with domestic vendors - Monitor production timelines and communicate progress to reporting manager - Coordinate for raw material, trims, and accessories required - Coordinate product deliveries and quality inspections - Complete all system-related entries on time - Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions - Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs - Source new vendors as per capacity requirement Qualification Required: - Any Graduate/Textile/Garment Technology Additional Details: The company is based in Tiruppur and you will be reporting to the Production Manager. The role requires a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in garment production supervision or coordination, specifically working with domestic brands handling multiple products and vendors. A good understanding of fabric, garment construction, and production techniques is essential. Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, communication skills in English and relevant regional languages, proficiency in MS Office, vendor management, and a good network of local manufacturing and job working units are required.
