Production Assembly Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Production for Assembly at Oragadam, Chennai to join our Production team on a full-time basis.

Position Description (A brief overview of the overall purpose of the position:

This Role will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the production processes and resources to ensure efficient operations. You will lead a team of dedicated employees and work collaboratively with various departments to drive excellence in production quality, efficiency, and safety to meet business needs

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage and supervise the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance
• Maintaining a positive work environment is essential for employee satisfaction and retention.
• Ensuring that products or materials are efficiently stored, allocated, and replenished to meet business needs.
• Ensuring that the products delivered meet the established standards of quality.
• Planning Demand /Forecast/Capacity Planning /Warehouse Management
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
• Defining Lean objective and metrics for all functions and driving accomplishment of all metrics
• Ensuring that the organization adheres to all legal requirements, industry standards, and internal policies
• Monitor, measure andreporton operationalissues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
• Full knowledge and control of all production line information: capacity, yield, quality tests and working procedures.
