Job Title: Production Supervisor – with Quality Control Experience
Location: Vadodara

Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor with strong Quality Control (QC) experience to oversee daily production operations while ensuring products meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production staff, optimizing workflow, minimizing waste, and implementing quality control protocols.

Key Responsibilities: Production Supervision

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily production schedules to meet output targets.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers and operators.
• Ensure optimal utilization of materials, machines, and manpower.
• Monitor and maintain proper shop floor discipline and 5S standards.
• Report production data and submit daily, weekly, and monthly output reports.

Quality Control Executive

• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Coordinate with the QC/QA team to ensure testing procedures are followed and documentation is complete.
• Maintain documentation for ISO/quality audits and support audit readiness.

Team Management & Training

• Provide training and guidance to workers on production and quality standards.
• Evaluate team performance and implement improvements to increase productivity and product quality.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on the shop floor.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to operational safety practices.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in production supervision with hands-on exposure to QC procedures.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Proficient in quality tools (5S, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, etc.).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
• Knowledge of production planning software/tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in paints and green building materials.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
