Product Testing - (Polaris iGTB)

As a Software Test Engineer (STE) at our company located in Chennai, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our iGTB banking application. Your responsibilities will include: - Prepare a detailed Clarification document and demonstrate a strong understanding of the Application under Test. - Identify and comprehend the Scope of work to effectively plan testing activities. - Create, review, and enhance Scenarios, test conditions, test cases, and scripts for comprehensive test coverage. - Generate and review Test data to support the test cases. - Execute test cases meticulously to validate the functionality of the application. - Maintain and update the Defect Log to track and report issues effectively. - Produce regular status reports on test design and execution progress. - Participate in defect review meetings to discuss and resolve reported issues. - Collaborate with customers and technical support staff to ensure timely problem resolution. - Present test results to both individuals and groups for review and feedback. - Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members to enhance overall testing efficiency. In addition to the above responsibilities, the ideal candidate should possess: - 3 to 5 years of experience in Test Design and Test execution. - Strong domain knowledge in the Banking sector. - Proficiency in testing methodologies to ensure thorough testing processes.
