Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist

As a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist at Axalta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting customer service and operational activities. Your responsibilities will include processing raw material regulatory data, preparing various reports, and managing raw material vendor SDS changes. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures and work instructions. In terms of customer and operations support, you will be tasked with fulfilling PSRC customer requests in a timely manner, such as providing Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Environmental data sheets (EDS), IMDS/CAMDS sheets, and other relevant documents. You will also gather data and prepare reports related to product stewardship and regulatory functions to support company operations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing raw material vendor SDS changes, ensuring compliance with global substance management requirements, and maintaining organized files of all raw material-related regulatory documents. Your role will also involve participating in the maintenance of accurate written procedures and work instructions for raw material-related processes within the PS&R function. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in product stewardship and/or regulatory affairs. Practical experience in interpreting product regulatory requirements, assigning GHS classifications, preparing SDS and labels, and understanding complex regulations related to chemical substances will be essential. Excellent English communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and proficiency in standard Microsoft Office products are also required.
