Your Impact

As Product Manager - Optical Networking, you will drive Cisco's next-generation optical networking innovations. You will bridge advanced technology with customer-centric solutions, focusing on delivering scalable, high-performance optical connectivity for cloud, AI and service provider networks.

Key Responsibilities Include

Defining and executing the product roadmap for optical networking solutions
Partnering with engineering, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to accelerate product development and market adoption.
Collaborating closely with customers and industry leaders to capture insights, anticipate market trends, and align solutions with evolving demands.
Leading go-to-market initiatives to ensure impactful product launches and sustained market success.
Advocating for automation and software-centric strategies to optimize operational efficiency and customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

We seek a highly motivated and technically proficient individual ready to lead innovation in optical networking.

Your Qualifications Should Include

Proven product management experience, preferably in networking or related technology domains.
In-depth knowledge of optical networking technologies, including coherent transceivers, optical transmission systems with EDFA and Raman amplification, ROADM architectures, and various fiber types.
Strong understanding of service provider, cloud/hyperscale and AI infrastructure requirements.
