The User Experience (UX) team at Cvent is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for individuals involved in planning and attending meetings and events. As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in shaping products that are designed to simplify, streamline, and enhance the event planning process. We are looking for an experienced User Researcher to join our growing User Research team and thrive in a dynamic and agile environment. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and conducting evaluative research such as card sorting, tree testing, usability studies, and heuristic evaluations. Additionally, you will support generative research efforts to gain a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors. By synthesizing and communicating research findings effectively, you will assist cross-functional teams in defining success metrics and leveraging insights to drive product innovation. Your expertise in research methodologies, human factors, and user-centered design will be instrumental in shaping the development of our products and services. Collaborating with various teams including design, product management, and marketing, you will formulate research questions, plan and execute studies, and analyze data to inform product decisions. To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant field such as user experience, design, psychology, or business. You should have 6 to 9 years of experience conducting user research within a UX team, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles. Additional knowledge of the hospitality industry and enterprise software is advantageous. Experience in quantitative survey programming, UX research for event planning software, mobile app/web development, usability lab management, product globalization, and statistical analysis is a plus.
