Key Responsibilities Documentation Development: 1. Create, edit, and maintain user manuals, technical guides, API documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles. 2. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly language. 3. Develop content for software products, hardware systems, processes, and procedures. Collaboration: 1. Work closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and support teams to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy. 2. Participate in product planning and review meetings to stay informed about upcoming changes and new features. Content Quality & Standards: 1. Ensure all documentation meets company standards for clarity, consistency, and usability. 2. Follow and contribute to style guides and documentation standards. 3. Review and update existing documentation regularly to maintain accuracy and relevance. Content Management: 1. Use content management systems (CMS) or documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar) to publish and organize documentation. 2. Track documentation versions and maintain proper records of updates and revisions. Additional Responsibilities: 1. Create visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and screenshots to complement written content. 2. Assist in the development of training materials and user onboarding resources. 3. Gather and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to improve documentation About the Candidate (including required competencies) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly and accurately. Familiarity with documentation tools and CMS platforms (e.g., Confluence, GitHub, MadCap Flare, or similar). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus. Basic understanding of HTML, Markdown, or XML is an advantage. Thorough understanding of technical writing with an enterprise product is mandatory. Experience in producing user documentation including Online Helps, User Guides, API Guides, Installation guides, and Release Notes including complex technical and functional material with limited, or no supervision. 8+ Years industry experience is a must. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, is mandatory. Strong working knowledge and application of style guides and industry practices. Well-versed with Agile and Waterfall methods of product documentation. A self-starter possessing excellent research skills and enjoys working hands on with the product. Ability to learn new product, technology, and tools quickly. Clear & Crisp phone & interpersonal communication skills. Attention to detail and result oriented.
