Job Description

BESS Product Development Manager : BE in any stream / Power Electronics with 10+ Years experience / M.Tech with 7+ Yrs experience Mandatory : Must have worked Hands-On KWh and/or MWh scale Storage Projects : Design & development of Containerized BESS with Batteries. Good Knowledge and / or Experience in : Design and installation of Containerized BESS and their sub-systems as below : Design and/or development / installation using BMS : BMU, BCU (aka BCMU or BCU), SBMS (aka BSCU or BSU), EMS and PCS and/ or Hybrid Inverters Good knowledge in designing and building Thermal management for these products. Experience with Design, Simulation of Thermal systems using any of the software packages like : ANSYS-Fluent or COMSOL or similar. Experience in the Design & development of complete Systems like Battery Power Packs, Racks / Cluster and Containers for BESS is ideal. Installation & Testing knowledge is required for Battery Packs for Safety, (Thermal Mgmt) for Performance and measurements of SOC, DOD, Number of Cycles, Rate capabilities. MUST be familiar with CAN and/or MOD Bus Protocols. Location : Coimbatore Job Description : To build and develop Battery Packs, Racks / Clusters and Containerized BESS : Simulation and Building Thermal Management of BESS : Test and deliver : including all Hardware Power Equipments and RS485 based CAN and/or MOD bus communications amongst sub-systems for accomplishing full functionality & performance of BESS Preferred additional experiences : BIS approval / certification process for Power Electronics products (Inverters, etc..) EMC / EMI certifications PCB Design of the power modules, cooling, gate drives, discrete component, and sensors in one package for better overall layout, robustness, easier manufacturing, and at lower overall cost Design of plastics, sheet metal, die castings Solar Projects Design, SLD, BOM and Project schedule, Management & Tracking
