Product Designer

Job overview:

We are seeking a creative Product Designer with 2 to 3 years of experience in designing

educational products and interactive learning tools. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to envision new products, such as DIY kits, robotics assemblies, space exploration models, and

other hands-on STEM learning aids, with a strong focus on accuracy, scale, and measurements.

This role involves close collaboration with subject-matter experts and the 3D design team to bring complex topics in Robotics, Space & Astronomy, Aerospace, and Computer Science to life. The Product Designer will play a vital role in converting conceptual learning outcomes into tangible product designs and 3D-ready visual references for use in E-learning platforms, AR/VR

simulations, and classroom-ready kits.

Key Responsibilities

STEM Product Conceptualization

• Ideate and design innovative STEM learning products, including DIY kits, robotics

mechanisms, space-themed models, and modular build systems

• Develop precise technical drawings and blueprints with accurate measurements for

product and 3D modeling

• Translate technical curriculum requirements into functional, learner-friendly product

concepts

3D Collaboration & Asset Integration

• Work closely with the 3D modeling team to ensure designs are accurately translated into

digital assets for animation and visualization

• Provide detailed design references, cross-sections, and part breakdowns to support

modeling and animation workflows

• Review rendered outputs and iterate based on performance, usability, and educational

objectives

Prototype Development & Testing

• Support the development of physical prototypes and iterate based on testing feedback

• Ensure all designs are ergonomically sound, age-appropriate, and manufacturable

• Collaborate with production or fabrication partners as needed

Visual Design & Presentation

• Create compelling design presentations with concept sketches, exploded views, and user

interaction visuals

• Maintain visual alignment with curriculum branding, thematic aesthetics, and target

audience expectations

• Present ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Innovation & Trend Awareness

• Keep current with trends in STEM education, learning through play, and product-based

pedagogy

• Bring new ideas and creativity to the team for engagement-driven learning tools

• Apply design thinking methodology to address learning challenges with tangible product

experiences

Skills & Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in product design, industrial design, or educational product

development

• Proficiency in tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Fusion 360, or similar CAD

platforms

• Strong understanding of form, function, scale, and material usability

• Experience in developing educational products or models related to Robotics, Aerospace,

or other STEM disciplines

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and prototyping skills

• Ability to create clear design documentation for 3D teams and production partners

• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous works. (Its mandatory)
