Product Designer (Metal Fabrication)

As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a talented and creative Product Designer with experience in metal fabrication to join our team and contribute to our vision.

Position Overview:
As a Product Designer (Metal Fabrication), you will play a key role in designing and developing metal components and products used in the construction of prefabricated homes. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure that designs are both functional and feasible, blending innovation with practicality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed product designs for metal fabrication, ensuring durability and ease of assembly.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to bring concepts to life, from sketches to production-ready designs.
• Use CAD software and other design tools to create 3D models and technical drawings.
• Select appropriate materials, processes, and technologies for metal product manufacturing.
• Ensure that all designs comply with safety, structural, and environmental standards.
• Continuously refine products based on feedback, testing, and evolving design trends.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in metal fabrication and design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in product design, particularly in metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and metalworking techniques.
• Creativity, with a strong eye for detail and aesthetic design.
• Good communication skills to work in a team and collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other stakeholders.
